Thank you for supporting this ministry as it reaches out to the most marginalized people in India. Leprosy is more prominent in India than anywhere else in the world, and even in the 21st century, the scourge of leprosy remains a persistent and widespread social and health problem throughout all regions of the country.
Harvest India seeks to help provide food, shelter, hope and dignity for these incredibly resilient people. We are in relationship with over 400 people suffering with Leprosy by providing them with a monthly meal, as well as a bag of rice, lentils, and a monthly stipend. By helping meet their physical needs, we are able to share love, dignity and hope with them.
